After having an operation to have my ovaries removed,
I suffered with the dreaded symptoms of the menopause - sleepless
nights, hot flushes, tiredness and forgetfulness. I was finding
all this hard to cope with and following a chat with my hairdresser
who is an Ecoflow Distributor, I decided to give TianTian a
try. After about three weeks of regularly taking TianTian
I felt more relaxed, was able to sleep better and the hot flushes
drastically improved - all without having to take HRT! K

TianTian is a unique drink inspired by the Chinese medicinal
philosophy of inner harmony and balance.
Drawing on the nutritional benefits of soy, the traditional
mainstay of the Asian diet, TianTian is a concentrate formula
specially developed to provide the optimum balance of natural
ingredients.
Rich in phytonutrients, isoflavones, anti-oxidants and lutein,
TianTian (which means 'daily' in Mandarin Chinese), also tastes
delicious.
Developed in the West, but inspired by the East, TianTian strikes
the perfect balance for those who want to take more care about
their own personal wellbeing but also want to get on with their
daily lives.
TianTian is rich in PHYTONUTRIENTS.
Phytonutrients are naturally occuring plant compounds,
structurally similar to human oestrogens. Oestrogens are hormones
required for normal growth and development and to maintain good
adult health in both men and women. Oestrogens are essential to
the female reproductive system but are also important for the
bones, heart and brain. Phytonutrients also act as anti-oxidants,
which play an important role in promoting general health.
Populations lacking sufficient dietary phytonutrients
have been shown to be more susceptible to problems such as cardiovascular
disease and cancers than populations, primarily in the East, whose
diet, historically, has been rich in them. A recent survey in
Japan showed a marked deterioration in health and increasing levels
of cholesterol associated with a more Western diet characterised
by an increase in animal rather than soy protein.
TianTian is rich in ISOFLAVONES.
Postmenopausal women are at risk from health problems relating
to oestrogen deficiency, such as cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
Isoflavones, a class of phytonutrients, have been shown to decrease
the risk of developing these conditions and to reduce the number
of symptoms associated with the menopause such as hot flushes.
TianTian is rich in ANTIOXIDANTS.
Free radicals are created by the immune system to destroy bacteria
and viruses. Free radicals may be increased by unhealthy lifestyles
and diet to a level which becomes dangerous to health. Anti-oxidants
in the diet helps to limit the excess of free radicals from:-
. Damaging cholesterol carrying particles, known as low density
lipoprotein or LDL;
. Contributing to clots or thromboses which can increase the
risk of heart attacks or strokes;
. Damaging DNA which may lead to cancer;
. Triggering inflammation;
. Suppressing the immune system;
. Impairing cell function.
Defending against these effects may slow the progress of chronic
diseases and aging.
TianTian in the fight against Cardiovascular Disease.
Soy protein contains all the essential amino acids in sufficient
quantities to support human life. In countries where soy is a
dietary staple the incidence of coronary heart disease is lower
than in the West. Experiments have shown that soy proteins and
its isoflavones are frequently linked to the reduction of cardiovascular
disease and the risk factors associated with it, such as excess
cholesterol.
The British and American Heart Association encourages the consumption
of soy as part of a healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol.
In 2002 the Joint Claims Initiative authorised the use of the
claim that the inclusion of at least 25 grams of soy protein a
day as part of a diet low in saturated fats can help reduce blood
cholesterol. Products carrying the claim must contain a minimum
of 5 grams of soy protein and relates only to soy protein that
has retained its naturally occuring isoflavones. In 100ml of concentrate,
TianTian contains 6.4 grams of soy protein.
TianTian in the protective role against Cancer.
Epidemiological studies have shown a significant
difference in cancer among different ethnic groups (higher in
the West compared with Asian countries such as China and Japan).
It is believed this is partially due to dietary habits.
Clinical trials have produced encouraging results
indicating that higher intakes of phytoestrogens, particularly
isoflavones have been associated with a reduction in the risk
of developing cancers of the breast, endometrium, prostate and
stomach.
TianTian in Eye and Skin Health
Lutein is found in many fruits and vegetables.
Most people do not eat sufficient of either and, because of modern
farming methods, many do not contain sufficient nutrients. One
of Lutein's functions is to provide protection against oxidative
and free radical damage. The highest concentrations of Lutein
are found in the eye, but it is also present in skin, breast and
cervical tissue. Lutein levels are entirely controlled by dietary
choice.
Lutein protects against Free Radical damage to the retina which
causes AGE RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION (AMD). AMD is the leading
cause of blindness amongst adults. High intakes of Lutein have
been linked to a 19% decrease in cataract risk for men and 22%
for women.
There is also a strong suggestion of benefits to the heart.
There are links suggested between Lutein consumption and prevention
of cancers of the oesophagus, stomach, lung, oral cavity and pharynx,
endometrium, pancreas and colon.
Associations have also been found between high Lutein intake
and lowered rates of coronary heart disease and stroke.
Lutein may counteract and prevent UVR-induced photo-damage and
erythema (inflammaation) of the skin.
TianTian as part of a calorie controlled diet.
TianTian is low in fat and carbohydrate whilst high in protein.
A tall glass of 250ml (at recommended dilution of 4:1) has only
32.25 kcal. TianTian is an ideal complement to a calorie controlled
diet.
Take TianTian for a more balanced life.
