Click the "Security" tab and then click the "Custom Level" button
Find the "Scripting" category click "Enable" under "Active Scripting"
Click the "OK" button, and then "OK" again

Under the "Edit" menu, select "Preferences"
Under "Web Browser", select "Web Content"
In the "Active Content" section, check the "Enable scripting"

Select "Edit" from the menu bar and then click "Preferences"
Click "Advanced"
Click on the "Enable JavaScript for Navigator" check box
Click the "OK" button

Select the "Edit" menu item and then click "Preferences"
Double click the 'Advanced' option in left panel
Find the 'Enable Javascript for' section on the right panel
Check the checkbox for 'Navigator'
Click the "OK" button

Under "Organization", click on "Internet Properties (WWW)"
Click the "Security" tab
Click the "Custom Level" button
Find "Scripting"
For "Active Scripting" click "Enable"
Click the "OK", "Yes", and "OK" buttons

In the AOL Toolbar, under "My AOL", select "Preferences"
Click the "WWW" button in the left-hand panel
In the "Web Preferences" section, click the "Advanced Settings
" button
Under "Web Browser", select "Web Content"
In the "Active Content" section, check the "Enable scripting"

Click the "OK" button

To maintain security, after completing the transaction,
use the above instructions to Disable Active Scripting.
